Facilities - Accommodation, Resident Services and Visiting
Communal Areas
Hill House boasts a reception area to welcome all-comers, which would not be out of place in a luxury hotel! This is just the beginning..
Hill House offers two spacious living rooms and a conservatory which all have television, DVD and/or video facilities. Hill House also has a well stocked library, while Westside also has two living rooms with Television and DVD.
Both homes have separate dining rooms where meals can be taken in the company of other residents, alternatively, residents may choose to take meals in the privacy of their own rooms.
Bedrooms

All our rooms are tastefully decorated and recognising that some residents prefer privacy and some companionship, we offer both single rooms and shared accommodation.
All rooms have a television, telephone and nurse call-bell, all radiators are thermostatically controlled for optimal comfort.
Residents are also welcome to bring in their own ornaments and small possessions to make them feel 'at home'.
Domiciliary
We support a full range of services and provide a chiropodist, dentist and optician who all visit regularly and other therapists can be arranged as necessary. Our in-house physiotherapist visits weekly and charges a nominal rate.
You may wish to keep your own GP if you are within their catchment area, alternatively several local GP's visit and you may wish to change to one of these, which we can arrange for you.
If you are required to attend an outpatient's appointment, and your relation/friend is unable to accompany you, we can provide an escort
Both homes have a hair salon and a hairdresser who visits up to 3 times per week.
Religion

We are happy to welcome all religious denominations and if you should have any specific religious requirements, please do not hesitate to inform us..
We currently have visits from representatives of the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church. Holy Communion can be received on Mondays.
On the third Sunday of the month we hold a hymn service hosted by the local gospel singers to which all are welcome to join in.
Visitors
We realise the importance of residents' friends and family and therefore, within reason, we have no set visiting times. We are also happy to provide guest meals with prior notice.
The library can be made available if you should wish to speak in private and do not wish to use your bedroom.
Overnight accommodation can be available in an emergency, for relatives and guests if needs arise.
