Westside, our sister property in Purley, offers a more homely and peaceful atmosphere, and can accommodate up to twenty-four residents.
Founded in 1968, Westside is a former doctor’s home that has been extended to provide facilities for residents requiring care, with en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, and a dining room. Westside is decorated in a warm, contemporary style, and has good transport links with Purley town nearby.
Our CQC registered manager, Diane with clinical lead Annette, manage this care home day-to-day with the support of the owners. We have a full catering team to prepare delicious meals for our residents, and in house activities and entertainment coordinators planning regular events.
“Mum was at Westside for the last year of her life. It was a huge relief to know that she was being looked after by people who so obviously genuinely cared, and we can honestly say that she smiled more in the last year of her life than she had for a long time.”

Dining is always an highlight for our residents, with tasty, nutritious meals enjoyed with good company. The menus are carefully planned to offer a varied choice, and are all prepared onsite by our skilled chefs and catering assistants, taking into account the individual preferences of our residents.
Our head chef Rodney manages our catering team, and makes a point of visiting new residents to find out their dietary requirements. The chefs like to provide a silver service to those who wish to eat in the dining room, and they are also able to accommodate residents who prefer to take room service instead.
We cater for all special dietary requirements and are happy for residents to invite guests to join them for a meal. We also run an annual summer BBQ and Christmas party with delicious food on offer, which residents are always welcome to invite their friends and family along to.
Activities and other facilities
We invite our residents to socialise with one another as much as they wish and offer in-house facilities and activities to cater for all tastes.

We also have onsite hairdressing facilities and daily delivery of newspapers.
WiFi is available throughout the home, and all areas and gardens are wheelchair accessible.
Our entertainment coordinator tailors activities to the abilities and preferences of those participating.

We also host parties for residents and their families in the Summer and
at Christmas. Residents are free to travel out with family and friends, as
long as staff are made aware of the arrangements. We regularly hold “Residents’ Views” meetings, where residents and their families can put
forward suggestions and have a say in the running of the homes.
