CARE HOME EVENTS
We run regular weekly entertainment for our residents, as well as monthly events and outings, and annual parties in the summer and at Christmas. Friends and family are always invited and welcome to join (when possible). As well as external entertainment, each Home has a full-time activities team to support the residents.
Understandably, the past year has required us to either reduce or pause, external entertainers coming into the home, so the team has got more creative with the activities offered to residents.

MONDAY
Coffee Morning
Have discussions and participate in Daily Sparkle reading.
Quizzes and word games
Come and exercise your brain with a range of games and word puzzles.
TUESDAY
Armchair exercises
A lively musical session, incorporating seated exercises.
Teapot Tuesday
Every second and the fourth Tuesday afternoon we hold an informal tea party for all residents, and any family members and friends who would like to join them for tea and homemade cakes.
WEDNESDAY
Live entertainment
Singers, Storytellers, Shows, etc
Bowls and Carpet games
Come and join us!
THURSDAY
Arts & Crafts
Join our art therapist for a relaxed session of painting and craft work, everyone is welcome.
Food Demo
Let’s cook together!
FRIDAY
Church service
Join us in the Churchill lounge for hymns and prayers, lead by the Reverend Justine, all denominations welcome.
Games, Trivias and Singalongs.
Try your luck and win a prize.
OTHER EVENTS
Special events
We often hold celebrations for residents’ birthdays and special occasions such as the Summer BBQ, the Christmas party, and staff pantomime!

Trips to garden centers, Coffee shops, and Clothes shopping.
