Westside, our boutique sister property in Purley, offers a more homely and peaceful atmosphere, and can accommodate up to 25 residents.

Founded in 1968, Westside was a former doctor’s home, which has been extensively renovated to provide facilities for residents requiring nursing care. It features a range of en-suite bedrooms, a lounge and separate reading room, and a dining room. Westside is decorated in a warm, contemporary style, and has good transport links with Purley town nearby.

Our CQC registered manager, Diane with clinical lead Annette, manage this care home day-to-day with the support of the owners. We have a full catering team to prepare delicious meals and snacks for our residents, as well as in house activities and entertainment coordinators to plan regular events.

“Mum was at Westside for the last year of her life. It was a huge relief to know that she was being looked after by people who so obviously genuinely cared, and we can honestly say that she smiled more in the last year of her life than she had for a long time.”

  • An armchair and table

  • Bedroom furniture

  • A flat-screen television

  • WiFi

  • A telephone if required

Our housekeeping staff ensure that bedrooms and shared spaces are kept clean on a daily basis, and we also carry out a personal laundry service.

Please contact us for our current rates and availability, and to arrange a visit.

DINING

Dining is always a highlight for our residents, with tasty, nutritious meals enjoyed with good company. The menus are carefully planned to offer a varied choice and are all prepared onsite by our skilled chefs and catering assistants, taking into account the individual preferences of our residents.

Our head chef Rodney manages our catering team, and makes a point of visiting new residents to find out their dietary requirements. The chefs like to provide a silver service to those who wish to eat in the dining room, and they are also able to accommodate residents who prefer to take room service instead.

We cater for all special dietary requirements and are happy for residents to invite guests to join them for a meal. We also run an annual summer BBQ and Christmas party with delicious food on offer, which residents are always welcome to invite their friends and family along to.

forward suggestions and have a say in the running of the homes.
